This Cookie Policy explains how Saibon Group AB ("Saibon", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website saibongroup.com. It is a companion document to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
This policy applies both to visitors of our website (saibongroup.com) and to users of the Saibon platform (app.saibongroup.com). Cookies set on the website are described in Sections 2.1–2.3. Additional cookies set inside the logged-in Saibon platform are described in Section 2.4.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, login session, or consent choices) for a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them every time you return.
Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies). Others are set by third-party services we use (third-party cookies). We also use similar technologies — such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — and refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" for simplicity in this policy.
2. Cookies We Use
We group cookies into three categories based on their purpose. The table below lists the actual cookies set on saibongroup.com.
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can configure your browser to block them, but parts of the site will not work as a result.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1(f)) and necessity for the requested service (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5.3 exception).
2.2 Analytics Cookies
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. These tools are designed to minimise tracking and do not build cross-site profiles.

Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6.1(a)) where required. Vercel's analytics implementation is designed to be GDPR-compliant by default and does not set persistent tracking cookies.
2.3 Marketing Cookies
We currently do not use marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies on saibongroup.com. We do not run retargeting campaigns and we do not embed third-party advertising pixels.
If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and re-prompt for consent through our cookie banner before any marketing cookies are set.
2.4 In-Product Analytics (Saibon Platform)
These cookies are set only when you are logged in to the Saibon platform at app.saibongroup.com. They help us understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve usability, fix bugs, and prioritise product improvements. They are not used for marketing, advertising, or cross-site profiling.
We use Microsoft Clarity to analyse aggregated usage patterns (such as clicks, scrolls, and navigation paths) within the platform. Clarity may also record anonymised session replays to help us diagnose usability issues. Input fields and sensitive content are automatically masked so that personal data entered into the platform is not captured.

Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6.1(a)). Clarity cookies are loaded only after you have given consent through our cookie banner. If you decline non-essential cookies, Clarity will not be activated in the platform.
How to opt out: You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "Manage cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page, or by deleting Clarity cookies through your browser settings.
3. Your Choices
When you first visit saibongroup.com, our consent banner (powered by Cookiebot) asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time:
- Click "Manage cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page on saibongroup.com to reopen the consent banner.
- Use your browser settings to delete existing cookies or block new ones. The links below explain how:
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent some parts of the site (such as the cookie banner itself and the logged-in platform) from functioning correctly.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how DNT should be interpreted, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We honour the consent choice you make through the cookie banner instead, which gives you finer-grained control.

International transfers to the United States are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as described in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a third-party service. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the change requires renewed consent, re-prompt you through the cookie banner.
